EPCAD OPA Capacity Optimizer

The EPCAD-OPA® Capacity Optimizer is a model-driven discrete-event simulation solutions package that enables planners, business analysts, and operations managers to solve their operations capacity optimization problems. You can easily adapt a number of different domain operating models using the EPCAD Simulation Profiles Workbench to create operating model resource capacity schedules, customer demand and operations plans, and other factors's that incorporated into simulation models and executed.

The schedules and plans generated from the business models are integrated with the simulations profile data and simulated to generate finite capacity schedules which help users determine effective capacity requirements for delivering value to customers.

The revised capacity plans generated from the simulation enable effective and efficient utilization of the productive capacity of critical resources/assets (e.g., workforce, equipment, material, and time), while improving productivity, and ultimately increases return on assets.
